Dr. Vikas Subhash Tupsundar works as an Assistant Professor. He has 18 years of experience in the field of education, including as a researcher and teacher educator. He stood second as a university merit rank holder in B.A. (Geography) university examination & received “The Pragji Thackersey Moolji Science Scholarship (in Arts)” from the University of Mumbai. He stood third as a university merit rank holder in the M.A. (Geography) university examination from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. He has been awarded a Ph.D. degree (Education – Interdisciplinary) in Disaster Management Education from the University of Mumbai. He has been honoured with the Ideal Teacher Award by the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Panvel. He has worked as a paper setter and examiner by Advanced Training Institute – Sion, Mumbai run by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, and as a visiting lecturer for the Diploma in Art Education at Sir J. J. School of Arts, Mumbai. He has experience of conducting Interactive Lessons through virtual classrooms under the project of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation - Mumbai. He has experience in NAAC work and university-level youth festival. He has actively participated in many workshops, conferences, seminars, webinars and teacher training programs, where he has presented conceptual and research papers. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Social Science Association (ISSA).
