Mr. K. Kavithasan is a research scholar in the Department of Costume Design and Fashion at PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. He holds a M.Sc., MPhil., (PhD) in Costume Design and Fashion from Bharathiar University. With over 6 years of teaching and research experience, him areas of expertise include technical textile, textiles science, apparel constructions and sustainable fashion practices. He has presented papers at national/international conferences and published research articles in reputed journals. Him academic interests lie in exploring the intersection of traditional textiles and contemporary fashion. This book reflects him commitment fostering creativity and innovation among fashion and textiles students.

Dr. J. Banu Priya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Costume Design and Fashion at PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. She holds an M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Costume Design and Fashion from Bharathiar University. With 12 years of teaching and research experience, she has published over 50 research papers and filed three patents in textiles and finishes. She has contributed to various academic and creative projects in fashion education.

Mr. Babu D is an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, Presidency University, Bengaluru, with over 13 years of industry and academic experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Costume Design and Fashion from Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. His expertise includes fashion merchandising, garment production, design consultancy, Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Draping, and Fashion CAD. He focuses on sustainability, zero-waste design, and innovative textile applications.
