He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Indira Gandhi National Tribal University and has qualified UGC-NET (JRF). His areas of specialization include environmental sociology, tribal studies, and traditional knowledge systems. Dr. Kumar has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals, focusing on biodiversity conservation and indigenous communities in India. He is actively engaged in academic administration, research activities, and professional bodies, and has contributed to teaching, curriculum development, and research methodology training.
Dr. Jayati Chatterjee Mitra is a Professor of Chemistry at Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur (C.G) with 18 years of academic, research, and administrative experience. She currently serves as a Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Director of IQAC, leading quality initiatives in the institution. She has published 42 research papers, including several in reputed Scopus and SCI-indexed journals and authored 10 books & 6 chapters with contributions to edited volumes of reputed publishers & served as a reviewer in many Journals.
