A study of the physiological processes and activities of plants is known as plant physiology, which is a sub- discipline of Botany. To be more precise, it is the descriptive study of the variety and the structure of the plants at the molecular as well as cellular levels, with implications for physiological, ecological, and biochemical aspects of plant investigation. Differentiating between water as well as carbon dioxide was crucial to the survival of terrestrial plants, which necessitated the development of specialised methods and processes. The study of plant physiology entails investigating the structure and behaviour of a wide range of plant parts.
