Description

Organisational Behaviour and Managerial Effectiveness is a detailed and practice-focused text that enables readers to understand the impact of human behaviour on organisational outcomes and managerial efficiency. The book combines foundational theories with modern advancements to present a well-rounded and practical approach to managing people in today’s workplaces.

Organised into seven systematically designed chapters, it addresses key topics such as individual behaviour, motivation, group dynamics, leadership, communication, organisational culture, stress management, and organisational change. It also expands into strategic areas by introducing environmental scanning and decision-making frameworks like PEST Analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, and SWOT Analysis, helping readers link behavioural concepts with strategic thinking.

The book highlights contemporary issues including emotional intelligence, diversity and inclusion, ethics, technology-driven transformations, and employee well-being. Each chapter is carefully structured to enhance both conceptual understanding and practical application, making it ideal for undergraduate and postgraduate management students, competitive exam aspirants, and professionals.

By integrating theory with real-world applications, this book acts as a valuable guide for developing competent managers who can effectively lead organisations in rapidly changing and complex environments.
