She completed her B.A.M.S. from S.D.M. College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Hassan, and her M.D. in Agad Tantra from B.M.K. Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi. She further earned her Ph.D. in Agad Tantra from the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur. With significant experience in undergraduate and postgraduate education, Dr. Pathak has made notable contributions to Ayurvedic toxicology through research and scholarly work. Her areas of interest include toxicology, forensic medicine, medical jurisprudence, drug safety, and public health awareness.
