Dr. Dilip Kumar Dey an eminent academician and administrator, hails from Ho-jai, Assam, where he completed his chooling at Desh a bandhu Bidya Pith. He excelled academically, se-curing first class first position in B.Sc. (Hons.) from Cotton college, Guwahati, followed by an M.Sc. from Delhi University and a Ph.D. from Gauhati University.

His academic pursuits also include a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Lucknow University and an Advanced Diploma in Chinese Language from the School of Foreign Languages, New Delhi. Dr. Dey's professional careers pans both government service and higher education.

He dedicated about30yearstotheCentral Government, where he rose to the designation of Additional Director. Later, he shifted his focus to academia, serving as Director in an engineering college and subsequently as Professor and Dean, Faculty of Science, at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak. Presently, he holds the prestigious position of Vice Chancellor at Bhabha University, Bhopal. With his vast experience in administration, teaching, andresearch, Prof.(Dr.) Dey has established himself as a multifaceted personality dedicated to advancing higher education in India.
