Vigneselvan Sivasubramniyam, is a dedicated researcher and academic with expertise in nanotechnology and materials science. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics (Nanotechnology) at the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, India, in 2021. His dissertation focused on developing copper and tin-doped ceriumoxide nanoparticles for humidity sensing applications. He holds an M.Phil. in Physics from Bharathiar University and an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Physics from institutions in Coimbatore, India. With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Vigneselvan has demonstrated his commitment to advancing scientific knowledge through research and teaching. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at DIEEE, University of Cagliari, Italy, Dr. Vigneselvan has gained diverse teaching experience in India. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Pollachi Institute of Engineering and Technology and KIT-Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology, mentoring students and conducting research. As a Teaching Research Assistant at the Government College of Technology, he contributed to significant research projects, securing ₹500,000 in funding from TEQIP-II for his Ph.D. work. An accomplished scholar, Dr. Vigneselvan has published 21 peer-reviewed articles, earning 378 citations, with an h-index of 13 and an i10-index of 16. He is a recipient of Elsevier's Reviewer Award and is a Life Member of the Materials Science Society of India.
