Dr. Shipra Nagar

Dr. Shipra Nagar is a Professor in the Department of Human Development & Family Studies, College of Community Science, Central Agricultural University (Imphal), Tura, Meghalaya, where she has been serving since 2005. She earned her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from Ethelind College of Home Science, SHUATS, Allahabad, and completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies from CSKHPKV, Palampur (H.P.) and M.S. University of Baroda, respectively. With extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, her academic and research interests focus on adolescent health, developmental assessment, intervention studies, and children with special needs. She has successfully completed and is currently handling nationally funded research projects and has published more than 36 research papers, widely in NAAS-rated journals, book chapters (ten), and popular articles (15). Her commitment to community outreach is reflected in the trainings and demonstrations she has conducted on adolescent health, child abuse, learning disabilities, developmental assessment, and stimulatory activities, particularly for anganwadi workers. She has also contributed in various academic and administrative roles within the university

Dr. Madhur Katoch
Dr. Madhur Katoch

Dr. Madhur Katoch is presently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Human Development & Family Studies, College of Community Science, CSKHPKV since 2019. She did her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from College of Home Science CSKHPKV, Palampur and completed her Ph.D. in 2008 from College of Home Science, MPUA&T, Udaipur in 2008. She had a teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including six years as Assistant Professor and 6 years as Guest Faculty in the same department. Her research portfolio includes handling one research project as Principal Investigator and another as Co-Project Investigator from ICSSR, New Delhi, along with nearly three years of experience as Research Associate. She is currently guiding three Master students and serving as co-advisor to 8 M.Sc. scholars. She has published 24 research papers in reputed NAAS-rated journals, seven book chapters, and developed one standardized psychological assessment scale, published by the National Psychological Corporation, Agra. Additionally, she has authored 11 popular articles, developed two modules and participated in six national and international conferences, receiving awards for Best Oral and Best Poster Presentations. Her research interests lies in dyadic relationships, Women and child welfare and Early Childhood Care and Education.

Ms. Goldy Chopra

Ms. Goldy Chopra is currently working as a Research Associate under AICRP-WIA in College of Community Science, CSKHPKV, Palampur, where she has been serving since October 2001. She completed her graduation from PAU Ludhiana and pursued her Master's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from CSKHPKV, Palampur. In addition to her academic qualifications, she has also completed B.Ed, Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), further enhancing her expertise in the field of Human development. With a strong academic and extension profile, she has contributed 38 research papers, 12 radio talks, 17 popular articles, 10 booklets, four manuals, two modules and one book. She had attended seven workshops/Conferences and trainings. She has also conducted more than 70 demonstrations and trainings, reflecting her active involvement in knowledge dissemination and skill development community outreach. Her work depicts her involvement in strengthening women empowerment, child development and rural development as a whole.
