Dr. Durgesh Dixena, is an Assistant Professor at SoS in Rural Technology, Shaheed Mahendra Karma University, Bastar, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. Dr. Dixena holds a Doctorate in Rural Technology from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. His area of expertise includes Rural Technology, Rural Development, Ethano-botany, Remote Sensing and GIS and other Allied areas. With an experience of more than 5 years in academics, he has been teaching Undergraduate, Postgraduate students along with guiding research scholars. He is actively involved in publishing many articles in reputed journals and conferences apart from some book chapters too.

Dr. Sajiwan Kumar, Associate Professor is a dedicated forestry and wildlife expert with a deep passion for understanding and conserving natural ecosystems. With a background in Forestry, Agroforestry, Non wood forest produce, Medicinal & aromatic plants, Ecology, Biodiversity, or Environmental Science etc. and years of experience in specific focus area, e.g., Ecological study, Biodiversity conservation, Traditional medicinal knowledge system, NTFPs or agroforestry system and forest management etc, they have worked tirelessly to protect & conserve biodiversity and promote harmony between human development and nature. Their career spans collaborations with state forest department, conservation organizations, government agencies, and local communities, all aimed at fostering sustainable practices and preserving forestry & wildlife habitats. An avid researcher and educator, Dr. Sajiwan Kumar is committed to making ecological knowledge accessible and actionable. Their fieldwork and studies have taken them to diverse landscapes, from open forests villages to natural forests i e., National Parks and also wildlife sanctuaries, enriching their insights into the intricate relationships between forests and the creatures that inhabit them. Dr. Mexudhan is a forestry professional and academician with specialization in Forestry and Agroforestry. He completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Forestry and Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Forestry from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. During his post-graduation, he was awarded the Gold Medal in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Forestry from Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV), Raipur, Chhattisgarh, where he carried out advanced research in the field of forestry. Dr. Mexudhan has qualified national-level competitive examinations in agriculture and forestry. He successfully cleared the ICAR Agroforestry NET examination three times (2018, 2020, and 2021), reflecting his strong academic competence and subject expertise. Additionally, he qualified the UGC-NET JRF in 2022, further strengthening his research credentials. Currently, Dr. Mexudhan is serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Studies in Forestry & Wildlife, Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya, Jagdalpur, Bastar, where he is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic development in the field of forestry and wildlife sciences.
