About the Author
Baer J. L. Arun Kumar, I have 13 years of post-PG experience. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from VAPMS College of Physiotherapy, Bakkannapalem, Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam (Batch of 2004). I pursued my Master’s in Musculoskeletal and Sports Disorders from The Oxford College of Physiotherapy, Bommanahalli, Bangalore. I have been teaching since 2013. Initially, I was also involved in home visits. Later, I joined hospitals such as JIMS in Ongole for a period of two years while continuing as a part-time teacher. Eventually, I returned to full-time teaching, as it has always been my true passion. I have been deeply inspired by my late father, Dr. Baer Philip Ravi Kumar, and my respected mentors: Dr. Siddharth (my Principal during graduation), my postgraduate faculty members — Dr. Vikranth Rao, Dr. Vinod K.C., and Dr. Paul Daniel VK — and my PG Principal, Dr. R. Vasanthan. Their guidance and support have played a vital role in shaping me into the professional I am today. Although my Master’s degree is in Musculoskeletal and Sports Disorders, I gained limited clinical field experience. However, I have acquired rich and valuable teaching experience over the years. I am very happy and proud to be on the verge of completing my PhD.
