In an era where agriculture is no longer confined to traditional farming, Agribusiness Systems and Entrepreneurship presents a holistic roadmap to understanding and navigating the evolving agricultural landscape.

This book brings together the scientific, technological, and business dimensions of agribusiness, offering readers a structured journey from foundational concepts to advanced entrepreneurial strategies. It is designed for students, professionals, and aspiring agripreneurs who seek to transform ideas into sustainable and profitable ventures.

The book begins by exploring the scope of agribusiness, contrasting it with traditional farming, and illustrating the critical role of entrepreneurship in driving agricultural transformation.

It delves into institutional frameworks, government policies, startup ecosystems, and public–private partnerships that empower innovation and investment in India’s agribusiness sector. Readers gain practical insights into opportunity identification, enterprise selection, business models, and value addition processes across crops, livestock, fisheries, and aquaculture.

Special emphasis is placed on emerging trends, digital agriculture, precision farming, export-oriented ventures, and niche markets.

The book also addresses challenges such as market volatility, climate change, financial planning, and skill gaps, while offering strategic responses and professional roadmaps for agribusiness leaders. By combining theory, case studies, policy perspectives, and actionable tools, this book transforms complex concepts into accessible knowledge, inspires innovation, fosters sustainability, and equips readers with the expertise to build successful, future-ready agribusiness enterprises.
