Basic Fundamentals Of Research Methodology

Numerous academic disciplines, including health, education, psychology, social work, nursing, public health, library studies, marketing research, and pharmaceutical sciences, incorporate research methodology into their curricula in various ways. The fundamental philosophical underpinning of this book is my conviction that, despite the fact that the subject matter of these disciplines differs, their overall approach to conducting research is comparable. As the years have passed, considerable debate has surrounded the definition of research, the optimal methods for conducting it, and the comparative merits of various approaches. With this in consideration, the current book was authored with two distinct aims: (i) to provide guidance to researchers of all disciplines in selecting the most suitable methodology for their research endeavors; and (ii) to acquaint readers with the intricacies of employing various research methods and techniques. With any luck, the modest endeavor manifested in this book may contribute to the successful completion of both exploratory and outcome-driven research endeavors.
