Through the Applied Sports Biochemistry Book, he shares his knowledge in a simple and practical manner, helping readers understand the scientific principles behind athletic performance, nutrition, and exercise. Dr. Shailendra Pratap Singh obtained his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. In 2013, he moved to the United States to pursue his postdoctoral research training at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas, USA. Subsequently, he joined New York Medical College, USA, where he served as a Research Scientist. His research primarily focuses on identifying new targets molecules for Metabolic Syndrome (Mets), with special emphasis on cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. Over the years, Dr. Shailendra Pratap Singh has made significant contributions in these areas and has been recognized with several awards for his scientific achievements.
